MISSION

I am committed to the sustainable management of marine resources through the use of science, education, public engagement, & innovative business practices.

Affiliations

I am currently a Postdoctoral Scholar with the Semmens Lab at Scripps Institution of Oceanography (UC San Diego), an Adjunct Scientist at the Cape Eleuthera Institute in The Bahamas, and a member of the IUCN Shark Specialist Group.

Interests

My research is focused on healthy seafood, sustainable fishing, and the conservation of threatened species. I have recently been focused on shark ecology, life history, and management as well as pollutants in commercially important fishes of the Southern California Bight.
